Assessing Our Spiritual Health

Physically, we stay strong by eating well and getting plenty of rest and exercise. Spiritually, we stay strong in similar spiritual ways. We take in spiritual nutrition through the Word, prayer, and the community as led by the Spirit. We find spiritual refreshing by practicing confession, dealing with conflict, engaging in the spiritual battle, and living by grace. We get spiritual exercise by using our gifts and abilities to His honor and glory!

We when we go for a physical checkup, the doctor addresses areas of our lifestyle such as blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and weight control. Well, when we take a spiritual check-up, there are areas of transformation that are addressed as well.

The link presented here takes us to our year end congregational survey, designed to honestly get at our spiritual health. A person can take the survey any time, but we ask all in the body to fill it out at least once a year in the month of December and submit it. We then use these responses to get a sense of our overall spiritual health as a body (and what we can do to address areas of growth).

Thanks for taking the time to fill out this assessment!
In Christ,

Pastor Tim
